A tragic accident in Egypt’s Red Sea has left six people dead after a tourist submarine sank near the popular destination of Hurghada. Authorities have confirmed that 39 others were rescued, but the heartbreaking loss of life has sent shockwaves through the international community.

The Red Sea is famous for its stunning coral reefs and attracts thousands of tourists each year. However, concerns over vessel maintenance and safety standards have been raised after consecutive incidents.

Dr. James Aldridge, a British tourist who took the same submarine trip just two months ago, described the experience as well-organized, with professional staff and modern equipment. However, he noted that life jackets were not issued to passengers, a detail that now raises questions about whether additional precautions could have prevented the disaster.

The sinking has left many families devastated, and the search for answers continues. Authorities are expected to release a full report in the coming weeks, but for now, the tragedy serves as a stark reminder of the risks that can come with adventure tourism.
