Despite the many allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs, some celebrities have decided to still support him. This is after the video of his physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in a hotel hallway was leaked. This happened back in 2016 at the Intercontinental hotel.
Chrissy Teigan and singer John Legend still follow Diddy across all social media platforms. They haven’t spoken out against Diddy in any way. American promoter and former professional boxer, Floyd Mayweather has spoken up for Diddy claiming that his decade long pattern of physical and sexual abuse is nothing more than a mistake. He claims that things happen in life and that he is not willing to put down a black man. Mayweather has had a disturbing history of domestic violence. In 2002, he pleaded guilty to domestic violence. In 2003, he attacked two women in Las Vegas and in 2010, he was accused of assaulting his ex girlfriend Josie Harris.
Senegalese- American singer Akon has also supported Diddy and even gone as far as to shame victims and whistle blowers for exposing Diddy. “Just pray for the man, God knows best and whatever’s happening, God’s dealing with it, “ he said in a video. “Things are going to be exposed but how is exposed to whom is exposed from those things is the issue. We all have issues, problems, skeletons. I hope things work out for all of us.”
Jason Derulo has made an attempt to support Diddy’s character by saying that he is innocent until proven guilty. Many social media fans believe that Jason is ignorant and doesn’t care about the victims who have come forward to express their encounters with Diddy.
Actor Dione Cole who has starred in the color purple as well as blackish has been in support of Diddy. Tyrese has also gone into details as to why he supports Diddy. He claims that he won’t speak up against him but instead he will pray or Diddy, his family, his mother, his kids and the victims involved. He claims he loves Diddy because he has been kind and generous to him. He also wrote that if Diddy needs someone to talk to, he should not hesitate.
