Beyoncé has officially announced her Cowboy Carter tour for 2025, but in classic Queen Bey fashion, she has left fans eagerly waiting for specific dates and locations. The news was shared across her Instagram, X, Facebook, and website on February 2, with a striking video of a sign reading "COWBOY CARTER TOUR"
This announcement comes after weeks of speculation that began with her high-energy halftime performance during the Ravens-Texans NFL game on Christmas Day, which streamed on Netflix. At the time, Beyoncé teased fans by posting "1.14.25" alongside the caption, "Look at that horse," referencing her song Sweet Honey Buckiin’.
While many assumed it hinted at new music or a tour, the singer later delayed her big reveal out of respect for those affected by the California wildfires. "I continue to pray for healing and rebuilding for the families suffering from trauma and loss," she shared on Instagram, adding that her BeyGood Foundation had donated $2.5 million to relief efforts.
Now, the long-awaited confirmation is here. The Cowboy Carter album, which debuted in April 2024, has been a massive success, earning 11 Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year. The project features collaborations with country legends Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, as well as contemporary stars like Post Malone and Miley Cyrus. While tour dates remain unknown, speculation is already mounting about potential stops.
Australian fans are particularly hopeful, as Beyoncé has not toured there since her Mrs. Carter Show in 2013, which grossed $40 million across Australia and New Zealand. Given the country's booming country music market—now the third-largest in the world after the U.S. and Canada—a Cowboy Carter stop in Australia seems likely.
Stadium rumors are also swirling, with some speculating that Beyoncé could match the record-breaking shows recently set by Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran. As of now, fans are waiting for further details.
