John Rich has recently voiced his concerns about the disturbing allegations surrounding rapper and music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs. Combs has faced multiple accusations of sexual assault, abuse, and trafficking, some of which are shockingly severe. Prominent lawyer Tony Buzbee has stated that more than 120 lawsuits are expected to be filed against him, with up to 300 potential victims.
The singer's words have ignited a fierce response from John Rich, who recently penned a song condemning abuse and warning those who harm children. In his new track, Rich sings: "Evil runs around this town, undercover, looking for a soul to take, but they better stay away from the righteous hunter or hell is all they'll pay... You ain't got a clue what a daddy will do, Better give your soul to Jesus while I get my gun." These lyrics, which are a direct message to those who would harm the innocent, reflect the intense protective instincts of a father, with Rich emphasizing the lengths he would go to protect his children.
Appearing on The Sage Steele Show, Rich further explained his sentiment, saying, "If you come after my kids, I'll kill ya. Try it... I would much rather spend the rest of my life in prison and my kids are ok." He continued, underscoring his commitment to safeguarding his children by declaring, "I would much rather stand in front of a freight train than you ever lay a pinky on my kids."
Rich's words are also a direct response to Combs' controversial 2020 speech at the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala, where Diddy claimed control over the music industry's influence on young people, saying, "We control what your kids listen to, what they dance to, we control what's a video game, we control how they wear their pants." Rich took offense to this, criticizing Diddy's arrogance and what he sees as a demonic influence. "Standing on a microphone with bright lights and television cameras and he's saying this to us?" Rich challenged, adding, "Ok, Sean Combs, why don't you come on and try it one time?"
For Rich, this isn't just about Diddy but the broader evil lurking within the celebrity world.
