Khloe Kardashian has opened up about her post-skin cancer journey, revealing her experience with facial injections to treat an indentation left after surgery. In 2022, Kardashian underwent an operation to remove a cancerous tumor from her face, which left her with a visible dent. Recently, she shared her recovery story on Snapchat, where she posted photos of the indentation both before and after the injections.
According to Kardashian, she waited nine months after her surgery before getting the injections, ensuring she had her doctor’s approval. "As a result of the surgery, and the tumor my incredible doctor removed, I ended up with an indentation in the side of my face," she shared. Her posts showcased the transformation and highlighted her decision to wait until it was medically safe to address the cosmetic issue.
Kardashian's openness about her health reflects her ongoing effort to raise awareness about skin cancer and the importance of regular checkups. She had initially sought medical attention for a small bump on her face that hadn’t gone away, leading to the discovery of the tumor. "I was lucky, and all I have is a scar to tell a story with," she said. "Most people aren’t as lucky as me, and I am forever thankful."
Her story serves as a reminder of the importance of early detection and frequent checkups, especially for skin abnormalities.
