As a teenager, Nick Cannon claims to have gone to one of his first Diddy parties. As Sean Combs awaits trial in May 2025 on federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges, the 44-year-old talked about his experience. The rap producer, who entered a not guilty plea, is charged with using his businesses to transport male sex workers and women to take part in Freak Offs, or recorded sex performances.
For over twenty years, Combs—who has also used the nickname Puff Daddy in the past—has frequently hosted lavish parties that are frequently attended by well- known celebrities. In an interview with The Breakfast Club podcast on October 11, Cannon stated, I've even been at one when I was a kid, in reference to Diddy parties.Like 16, 17.
I remember standing outside, trying to get into a Puff party out here in New York, the Wild N&Out star went on.
Cannon, who has been pictured as an adult at a number of the record executive's parties, including one in Los Angeles a few years ago, likened them to the celebration in the late Notorious B.I.G.'s 1995 song &One More Chance, which features Combs.
The host of America's Got Talent stated that Bad Boy parties [were] official in New York in the late 90s. Everybody gets scared to talk because they probably got something to hide. According to Cannon, he had nothing to conceal. In reference to the hip-hop dance, he continued, I was in there Harlem-shaking,doing all of that stuff.
Cannon did not elaborate on his observations of the party. Additionally, he insisted that he has never been intoxicated.
Adding, I don't drink; I don't do drugs,I've never been drunk in my life.
Cannon also discussed Diddy's celebrity-filled parties. July of last year.
He claimed to have been to all of the parties, DJ'ed them, all that stuff on the podcast One Night With Steiny. No wild s--t has ever been seen by me. They might be hiding that s--t from me, I think.
Combs is indicted by prosecutors for arranging hotel rooms and providing them with baby oil, other lubricants, and controlled substances in order to facilitate Freak Offs. In March, authorities raided Combs homes in Miami and Los Angelesmand discovered 1,000 bottles of baby oil and drugs. The celebrities who have been seen at Combs events have not discussed their experiences in public. Comedian Jeff Wittek discussed attending one of the music artist's purported Freak Off parties in Miami in September, calling it eight stories high and witnessing live sex. He admitted to getting drunk but lived through it.
