JT and Yung Miami, former members of the City Girls split after their last album “R.A.W” did not do well. Their album was met with criticism by Alphonse Pierre of Pitchfork commented that the title is "an attempt to convince the music world that their X-rated anthems of tricking and scamming haven't lost any edge as the duo are "on a mission to regain their spot as the dirtiest, most provocative hitmakers in rap.
The duo went on to split, citing distance and lack of connection as the main reasons. During a recent interview of Yung Miami's podcast “Caresha Please” on Revolt, she opened up about her fallout with JT and their public feud on X. She was interviewed by her close friend, Saucy
Santana. After the interview, most fans expressed disappointment in Caresha and came to JT's defense.
“JT was literally Caresha Please very first guest and she got on there and cried about their friendship cause she felt like her and Miami was drifting apart. Her and Santana gas lit tf out that girl. Now this?!” a user on X questioned. “She only picked Santana because a real journalist would’ve called out her lies. He’s just her friend.”
Some fans accused Caresha of focusing her attention on JT, yet she showered praises on Diddy. “Caresha, u dated Diddy for 3 whole years & you’re telling me that you haven’t witnessed NO sketchy behavior?? And you got no stories to share either?? Y’all moved on from that Diddy topic way too fast. People couldn’t care less about the JT drama.” One user also wrote, “She’s letting everything out about JT but when it came to Diddy it
was rainbows and sunshine.”
Another user went ahead to debunk the claims that Caresha held the group down while JT was in prison. “Caresha did NOT hold JT down. That girl did her job. She was under contract, she had an obligation. Holding someone down is when you do it by choice. The only choices Caresha made was getting pregnant by that dirty boy and pissed on by Diddy.”
Yung Miami claimed that JT was not transparent when it came to her solo projects, however a fan on X thinks otherwise. “Sometimes you have to move in silence when trying to reach a certain goal. JT is not obligated to tell Carshea her every move because she was focused on HERSELF AND IT PAID OFF!!! JT’s debut mixtape sold more than the entire City Girls discography put together!!”
“Lmao the positivity surrounding Diddy compared to the negativity surrounding JT is CRAZY. “He poured into me” “She didn’t tell me she was recording songs with Nicki””
