Chris Brown shared a photo with Kehlani and captioned it “twin” along with a heart emoji, however, the photo has sparked public outrage due to their past encounter. At the time, Kehlani shared a photo in the hospital, insinuating that she had attempted to commit suicide. Fans suspected that it was due to their troubled relationship with PartyNextDoor.
Brown replied to the news on his social media, saying: “There is no attempting suicide. Stop flexing for the gram. Doing shit for sympathy so those comments under your pics don’t look so bad!” He continued: “I’ll be the biggest piece of [poop emoji]. But ima ride for my homies regardless. KYRIE is probably one of the only good guys left. IDGAF!”
After the photo went viral, some users scolded Kehlani for being on good terms with Chris Brown. “Kehlani [was] going, ‘Use your platform! Speak against injustice!’ and then proceed[ed] to buddy-buddy up with one of the most famous domestic terrorists of all time…,” one user on X wrote.
“Kehlani went out of their way to remove Tory Lanez off a song after the incident with Megan, but now they all cozied up with Cocaine Fisticuffs Brown?”the social media user asked, referring to when Tory was blacklisted after shooting Megan Thee Stallion.
“Joked about you killing yourself and you took a picture with him, ooh Kehlani,” one showed disappointment. “Kehlani too forgiving. After Chris Brown embarrassed her some years ago, he would've has to publicly apologized and bark like a dog.” A user went ahead to say that Kehlani hanging out with Chris Brown “genuinely feels like a slap to the face.”
“Kehlani spends so much time talking about advocating for human and women's rights to go be playing house with Chris Brown is sooooo… wake up to yourself what the fuck.”
