Brittany Mahomes, 28, co-owner of the Kansas City Current, recently shared an update about her challenging third pregnancy on Instagram. On Tuesday, July 23, she posted a candid photo to her Instagram Stories, detailing the difficulties she's faced. Brittany and her husband, NFL star Patrick Mahomes, 28, are expecting their third child together.
"Good morning, just me and my skin that's losing its mind," Brittany wrote in her post. "This pregnancy has been the hardest on me—sickness, exhaustion, and now skin issues!" To manage the skin problems, she shared that she had an "amazing facial" in hopes of calming it down.
The couple, who are already parents to 3-year-old daughter Sterling Skye and 19-month-old son Patrick "Bronze" Lavon Mahomes III, recently revealed the gender of their third child. On Friday, July 19, they announced they are expecting another girl. The gender reveal was done creatively with their daughter Sterling playing a game of Tic-Tac-Toe, which revealed three pink Xs in a row. Pink smoke and confetti completed the celebration as Sterling held a "big sister" flag.
Brittany has been open about the ups and downs of their expanding family. During a spring 2023 Instagram Q&A, she revealed that Bronze was conceived on their wedding night and that both pregnancies were surprising moments for the couple. "Nothing cute lol, both were 'oh s--t' moments," she joked.
Managing a busy household, Brittany acknowledges that she has assistance. She shared that she has a chef, nanny, virtual assistant, and a security team to help keep everything running smoothly. "Yes, I have help, and I'm very thankful for it!" she wrote.
Brittany's candidness about her pregnancy journey and the support she receives underscores the reality many expectant mothers face, balancing personal challenges with family life.
