Yung Miami and Diddy confirmed their relationship when Diddy appeared on an episode of Miami’s podcast, “Caresha please” but before then, rumours of the pair dating started circulating a year before. The two have never revealed how they met. When interviewing rapper Trina on her podcast, Miami revealed that she enjoys being urinated on during intercourse, and the internet assumed that she was referring to her relationship with Diddy.
The two were on their way to be considered the Hip-hop power couple due to Diddy’s influence in music, fashion and television. During the 2022 BET awards, Miami held a “Go papi” sign while Diddy accepted the Lifetime Achievement Award, however fans were quick to point out that Diddy thanked his ex’s during his acceptance speech, rather than his then girlfriend, Yung Miami. In April, 2023, Miami told The Cut that she was no longer dating Diddy, but they were still good friends, however, they were spotted at the Met gala, that same year, but they did not confirm their relationship status after being asked by host, LaLa Anthony.
Gina Huynh, one of Diddy’s ex-girlfriend trolled the city girl rapper after Diddy announced the birth of his daughter, Love, with another woman. “When she beefing with you over a (ninja emoji) but whole time he got someone else pregnant. City girls down by 1000,” she wrote. JT, Miami’s group mate at the time fired back at Gina, claiming that Diddy made her have an abortion, despite her wanting a baby. Yung Miami has been silent as Diddy’s skeletons are being exposed in multiple lawsuits.
She was also accused of trafficking drugs for the mogul whenever he needed them but she remained silent amidst the allegations. When footage of Diddy physically assaulting his ex girlfriend, Singer Cassie Ventura, Yung Miami unfollowed Diddy on Instagram. Fans speculated that Yung Miami is trying to distance herself from Diddy.
