RnB singer Summer Walker’s current boyfriend, Rico Recklezz opened up about how he was able to get her attention after 8 years of trying. During an interview with VladTV, Rico revealed he would constantly send the singer numerous direct messages on Instagram because he ‘wanted her.’ He claims that despite the numerous messages, Walker would not reply. Rico went ahead to say it became too much to a point it might’ve been considered stalking.
“ It damn near got stalker – ish. The only reason it didn’t get stalker – ish is because I kept going to jail,” he said. Rico admitted that even when he was in jail, he would tell his fellow inmates that Summer would be his wife but they never believed him. After 8 years, Summer walker replied to his dm (direct message).
“Then one day, she finally (was) like, ‘You not finna stop, is you?’” he recalled during his interview. “I was like ‘is the light red or green? I’ll never stop! This shit go! You tripping. Just give me a chance! If you don’t like me, you can have your security beat my ass’ She thought it was funny. She came and saw me and she never left. On gang.”
Social media users had different thoughts about it, with some claiming Rico Recklezz might treat Summer the best out of all her ex boyfriends. “A criminal & a stalker, she sure knows how to pick them omfg,” one sarcastically commented. Some claim that, “ I be telling people. The tongue is very powerful, he spoke it into existence.” Others claim Summer only responded to his dm because she was “bored and desperate.” “Summer… baby girl I’m happy for u and all just get your suitor some media training and let’s take it from there. He definitely has potential.”
Summer Walker and Rico Recklezz have been together for a few months, with them posting each other on their respective social media pages. Rico revealed that he is planning and thinking about marrying the “Over It” singer.
