Beyoncé, former Destiny Child’s star claims that her first job was at her mother’s salon, where she used to perform for clients as they got their hair done. When Beyoncé announced her haircare line, social media users were quick to criticise her, accusing her of always wearing wigs yet she wants to start a natural haircare line. After fans criticised her Cécred hairline, Beyoncé took to social media to put the rumours to rest by giving her fans a behind the scenes of her hair wash routine.

“Now that Cécred is known for the quality and what it does for your hair, l think it’s about time. It has been such a special experience seeing all your Cécred wash day rituals all over my timeline... I just had to join in with something l had in my archives,” she captioned on her Instagram.

Beyoncé fans are now accusing Rihanna of stealing Beyoncé’s haircare idea. Fans started comparing Rihanna’s haircare line to Beyoncé’s Cécred, however Beyoncé’s hair is her brand because she is known for long, healthy hair. Beyoncé’s fans are annoyed that people were more receptive to Rihanna’s haircare line unlike how they were to Beyoncé.

“Beyoncé: Shares her very healthy hair frequently over the course of her career with a familial history of hair care= cash grab, not trustworthy. Rihanna: Never wears her hair, billion dollar brand= ??? Nothing? Y’all “relatable” queen, l guess,” a fan expressed on social media. “Beyoncé drops Cécred and the makeup lady is now entering haircare???” a fan questioned.

“Rihanna this is weird I’m sorry. Beyoncé just released a hair care line. It’s not selling but why not let it be?? You’re always trying to ruin her businesses. It’s really giving you want her man, l don’t know,” Holland media took to Twitter (X).

“Beyoncé wearing wigs to protect her hair while being experimental with her looks: People building dumb and ignorant narratives around Cécred and Bey. Rihanna doing the exact same thing: people praising and celebrating her for the incoming hair care line, while not facing any backlash,” a fan commented.
