This was personally revealed to Gerry Turner when, during the premiere of his first season of The Golden Bachelor, Kris Jenner invited him to dinner with her and the model, who was a huge fan of The Bachelor. The 28-year-old claims in a confessional that she's seen some things that I shouldn't have seen on Gerry's cellphone in a teaser for the next episode of The Kardashians. What precisely was it that Kendall discovered?
Gerry claims it's a major spoiler for the series. In a June 4 interview with TMZ, the Bachelor Nation member revealed that, while at dinner, Kendall and Kris used his phone to call their big fan, Angie. It was then that Kendall noticed Golden Bachelor contestant Theresa Nist saved as a contact,
telling them that she was the one he would eventually pop the question to in the season finale.
Fortunately, Gerry said he wasn't too upset that they found out, and Kris and Kendall kept the news to themselves. Rather, his attention was centered on how much fun they all had, describing them as warm, friendly, elegant, inclusive, and gracious. They concluded the evening by watching a Golden Bachelor episode in the family's home theater.
Theresa, 70, and Gerry, 71, were married in a televised ceremony in January, but three months later, they announced their separation, citing their desire to stay close to their families (Theresa is from New Jersey, and Gerry is from Indiana) as major factors in their decision.
What comes across to me most from our talks is how committed we both are to our families, Gerry and Theresa said in a joint interview with Good Morning America in April. So we look at these situations, and I think we just feel like it's best for the happiness of each of us to live apart. Theresa clarified, though, that doesn't mean they didn't try.
We looked at homes in South Carolina; we considered New Jersey; and we just looked at homes after home, she continued,but we never got to the point where we made that decision.
