Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones became the center of social media speculation after he was seen drinking from a clear glass bottle during Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders on October 19. The moment, captured during the broadcast near the end of the third quarter, showed Jones sitting on the bench beside teammate George Karlaftis while holding the bottle.

Viewers immediately took to social media to debate the contents of the container. Some users joked that the bottle looked like it held alcohol, with one viral post on X writing, "CHRIS JONES DRINKING VODKA ON THE SIDELINE," alongside a clip of the moment. Others playfully joined in, suggesting the bottle could contain "rum, gin, tequila," or something else entirely.

Not everyone believed the lighthearted claims. Many fans argued that the bottle likely contained water or a performance drink. "Folks really think Chris Jones is sneaking vodka on the sideline, whole time it's a $200 a gallon wellness water," one person joked. Another added, "If he was really trying to drink liquor on the sideline, he'd put it in a regular bottle. That's just some fancy glass water bottle."

The exchange quickly turned into a meme, with fans humorously analyzing screenshots and clips of the broadcast. Some users also pointed out the game's lopsided score — the Chiefs were leading the Raiders 31-0 at the time — suggesting that the lighthearted chatter was part of fans having fun with the blowout.

Jones has not addressed the viral moment publicly, and the Kansas City Chiefs have not issued a statement about the incident. The defensive tackle, a key player for the reigning Super Bowl champions, is known for his intensity on the field and charismatic personality off it.

The game also produced another viral moment when quarterback Patrick Mahomes was caught on the broadcast expressing frustration with a play call. Cameras captured Mahomes appearing to complain before the snap, only for him to surprise the Raiders by running the play and securing a first down.
