Alexia Grevious Henderson is taking another step forward in her communications career.
The Fort Mill, South Carolina native is a Clemson University graduate with a degree in communication studies, where she helped establish the school’s first digital foundation and athletic video department, as AFROTECH™ previously reported.
Her career experience includes working in digital communications at the NCAA before joining the Washington Commanders (formerly the Washington Redskins) as its corporate communications manager from 2015 and 2017, according to information on her LinkedIn profile.
She has since been working for Magic Johnson Enterprises. She rose from senior manager of marketing and communications to director of marketing and communications, and by 2023 to vice president of strategic partnerships and marketing.
Along the way, she secured an MBA from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School in 2020. She was also featured in Diverse Representation’s “The Ten to Watch in 2022” and Sports Business Journal’s 2021 “New Voices Under 30,” according to a press release.
Henderson has now earned another promotion, recognized for her work in marketing and communications, her management of corporate partner relationships, and her oversight of contractual partnership obligations. She will serve as president of Magic Johnson Enterprises.
