New Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson and his wife Chanen are expecting their third baby.
The couple made the announcement in a joint Instagram video on Monday, Aug. 24. The clip opens with a shot of sunlit leaves, displaying a Bible verse that reads, “When the time is right I, the Lord will make it happen. Isaiah 60:22.”
The video then pans to Juwan, 29, and Chanen, 30, wearing coordinating white outfits with their two daughters, J’adore Blessing, 3, and Jubilee Joy, 22 months, smiling as they hold the sonogram images for baby number three. The couple’s two daughters are then seen running through a field together. “& then there were 5🤍,” they captioned the post.
The couple welcomed their first daughter, J’adore, in 2023, after Chanen shared her fertility journey. The NFL star shared a reflection on her special arrival in an Instagram post at the time.
“What a BLESSING! A doctor in college told her she could never have kids,” Juwan shared. “That she wouldn’t be able to. A year ago having a pair of miscarriages. But I know something and someone who is bigger than this giant. God has never lost. Not ONCE.”
In the years since, the couple has previously shared glimpses into how the family supports Juwan from the sidelines, including his daughters’ first time on the field.
