DJ Khaled is opening up about his ongoing weight loss journey and says he is eager to show the world the progress he has made.
Speaking ahead of the 2026 Miami Grand Prix, the 50 year old shared that he has been focused on improving his health and mindset. He joked that people now call him "Slim Jim" and said he is proud of the transformation taking shape. According to Khaled, the journey is about more than appearance. He described it as "sculpting greatness" and said the changes have helped him protect his happiness and appreciate his blessings.
He explained that his routine combines consistent exercise with better eating habits. Khaled noted that he has become more disciplined and intentional in his daily life, which has contributed to visible changes in his overall look and energy. He said the difference can be seen in his glow and confidence, adding that he fully embraces the lifestyle he is building.
A major part of his routine involves long walks, often tied to his love for golf. Khaled begins his day early, usually around six or seven in the morning, and walks between seven and eleven miles. He often plays a full round of golf without using a cart, covering several miles on foot. On some days, he doubles that effort, extending the distance even further. By late morning, he has already completed his workout before moving on to his professional responsibilities.
Khaled said that spending time outdoors has been especially meaningful. He enjoys being in nature and finds that walking while golfing allows him to think clearly and make better decisions. Unlike traditional gym workouts, this approach feels more natural and enjoyable for him, which helps him stay consistent. He added that starting the day this way sets a positive tone that carries through the rest of his schedule.
Since adopting these habits, Khaled said the biggest change has been in his mood and outlook. He feels happier and more energized, which has influenced both his personal life and work. He has previously shared before and after photos on social media, noting that he is still working toward his goals.
Earlier this year, Khaled also appeared in a Super Bowl commercial promoting a weight loss medication, explaining that he wanted to explore options that could support his efforts as he continues striving to be healthier for himself and his family.
