Cardi B used her Little Miss Drama Tour stop in Los Angeles on February 15 to confront swirling rumors about her relationship with New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs. While she did not directly confirm a breakup, the Grammy-winning rapper made it clear she would not tolerate criticism of Diggs.
“Just because I ain’t f**_ing with my baby daddy doesn’t mean you get to talk about my baby daddy, b_*! This for you, b****!” Cardi declared before launching into her diss track “Pretty & Petty.” The fiery statement appeared to be aimed at rapper BIA, who recently mocked Diggs on social media.
BIA had written, “Can u name someone with more [baby mamas] than receiving yards? I can! and I know that… ykwnvm,” referencing Diggs’ expanding family. The wide receiver welcomed daughter Charliee Harper with Aileen Lopera in April 2025, followed by two more children with other women. Lopera later dropped a paternity and child support case after DNA tests confirmed Diggs as the father.
Cardi herself gave birth to a son with Diggs in November 2025, shortly after the couple went public with their relationship. The rapper, 33, also shares three children with her estranged husband Offset, from whom she filed for divorce in 2024.
Speculation about Cardi and Diggs’ relationship intensified around Super Bowl LX earlier this month. When asked by ESPN to share an inspiring message for Diggs before kickoff, Cardi offered only a terse “Good luck” before walking away. Fans also noticed that the pair unfollowed each other on Instagram, further fueling breakup rumors. Cardi left the game early after making a surprise appearance in Bad Bunny’s halftime show.
Despite the uncertainty, Diggs had spoken warmly about Cardi in the days leading up to the Super Bowl. During Opening Night on February 2, he hinted at a possible engagement, saying, “It’s on the agenda, maybe, right? I gotta get mine first, though,” referencing a Super Bowl ring. He also praised her support, noting, “She’s an amazing woman. Being there for me is hard, you can imagine. I’m a lot to deal with, but I never want to not let her know that I appreciate her for being there.”
Cardi’s comments in Los Angeles suggest that while she may be distancing herself from Diggs personally, she remains protective of him publicly.
