Jordyn Woods is Karl-Anthony Towns' lifelong teammate. After five years of dating, the NBA player and model announced their engagement in cute pictures. Karl falls to one knee while the couple is seen on a rooftop in the December 25 announcement.
Together with a red heart, Christmas tree, and diamond ring emoji, they captioned the shared Instagram photo with the words "Merry Christmas."
The couple is seen embracing the poignant moment with a hug in another sweet picture from the carousel. At other times, Jordyn can be seen flaunting her enormous ring while wearing the ideal bride-to-be ensemble of a white satin dress and matching fur coat.
Although the couple recently announced their impending nuptials, rumors about their most recent development have been circulating since Jordyn uploaded a series of selfies to Instagram in early October with a large sparkler on that finger.
The socialite wore a New York Knicks hoodie in the October 3 picture, presumably to show support for her soon-to-be husband, who was traded to the Knicks that same day from the Minnesota Timberwolves.
While waiting in the In-N-Out drive-through line, she also took part in a Snapchat filter challenge with a bridal theme to attract even more attention. She wrote in the video with a laughing emoji that the filter offered a plethora of bridal dresses and accessories to choose from, ideal for "building my dream wedding vibe."
She didn't mind keeping fans in the dark about her upcoming marriage, even though she wasn't a huge fan of the bridal ensemble.
Jordyn, 27, stated, "I don't really love these choices right now, but since all of you keep asking when I'm getting married, I might as well."
However, given that the two have previously expressed their opinions about the course of their friendship-to-lovers relationship, the questions are largely warranted.
Jordyn, who started dating Karl-Anthony in 2020, stated on her Instagram series Regular-ish in 2021, "I think it's kind of cool dating your best friend." "We are acquainted. We are familiar with one another's hearts. We have experienced many difficult times together and know each other on both good and bad days.
Screenshots of an alleged conversation between the NBA player and another woman appeared that same year, sparking rumors of cheating.
Karl-Anthony, 28, corrected the record right away, though, and hinted at a potential future engagement.
"So I got the baddest girl in the game, and you think I'm gonna waste my energy with anyone else? GTFOH!" the player wrote. "The same haters we have now are going to be the same ones we have when I put that ring on her finger."
