Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are once again making headlines—this time over a set of photos that mysteriously vanished after Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were among the high-profile guests at Jenner’s James Bond–themed celebration on November 8, hosted at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s mansion in Beverly Hills. Other stars in attendance included Oprah Winfrey, Mariah Carey, Adele, and Mark Zuckerberg. A guest told _People_ that Meghan and Harry “arrived hand in hand and looked very happy,” with Meghan wearing a black wrap dress and Harry dressed in a tuxedo featuring a red poppy for Remembrance Day.
Not long after the event, Kris and Kim Kardashian shared photos from the party on Instagram, including shots with Meghan and Harry. But within hours, the pictures were deleted—sparking widespread curiosity about why.
Initial reports suggested the couple had declined to be photographed, supposedly by checking “no” on a consent form given to guests. However, _People_ later clarified that “there were no consent forms,” dismissing that claim. Other outlets, including _Page Six_, reported that Meghan and Harry had personally asked for the images to be taken down to avoid upsetting the royal family while they continue efforts to mend their relationship. The timing also coincided with Britain’s Remembrance Day, leading some to think the removal was out of respect.
Still, sources close to the Kardashian-Jenner family were reportedly not happy about it. According to the _Daily Mail_, the decision left Kim Kardashian “frustrated,” especially since the couple had willingly posed for photographers at the Baby2Baby Gala earlier that same evening. Some insiders described the move as a “Hollywood snub,” claiming it may not sit well in an industry where appearances matter.
Even though the posts were deleted, several of the photos remain online, showing Harry smiling next to Jenner while Meghan appears more composed. Neither the Sussexes nor the Kardashians have commented on what really happened, leaving fans to keep guessing about the reason behind the quiet photo takedown.
