Khloé Kardashian has opened up about how her sister Kylie Jenner helped her navigate one of the most painful chapters of her life — learning that her ex, Tristan Thompson, was expecting a baby with someone else, just as Khloé and Tristan were preparing to welcome their own son, Tatum, through surrogacy.
Speaking on the November 12 episode of her _Khloé in Wonderland_ podcast, the reality star described Kylie as one of the “main reasons” she felt strong enough to move forward. “Kylie is really one of the main reasons why I felt so safe and comfortable having Tatum,” Khloé shared. “Kylie was like, ‘Come on! Aire is six months older than Tatum.’”
Kylie, who shares Aire and Stormi Webster with ex Travis Scott, reminded her sister to look for a silver lining in the difficult situation. When Khloé was heartbroken and questioning why it was happening again, Kylie told her, “But God makes no mistakes, and this was supposed to happen. Now our sons get to grow up together.”
Reflecting on that advice, Khloé said Kylie’s reassurance helped her focus on the bond between their children rather than the pain of betrayal. Kylie added that the two cousins have grown close, saying, “They’re so cute. I just sent Khloé a video from Disneyland — they were sitting in the cart holding hands.”
The sisters also reminisced about sharing other major milestones together, including their pregnancies. “I don’t think we ever expected to be pregnant together at the same time — in a million years,” Kylie said. “Going from you helping me count my birthday on my fingers to being pregnant together… we really embraced it.”
Khloé recalled that her pregnancy came a few months after Kylie’s and admitted she didn’t know her sister was expecting at first. The experience, she said, strengthened their relationship. “And having our sons together is the best thing ever,” Kylie added.
Khloé and Tristan’s relationship has faced multiple public scandals, including the revelation that he cheated days before she gave birth to their daughter True in 2018. Despite several attempts to reconcile, the pair ultimately split for good after the second cheating incident in 2021.
Though Khloé admitted on Jay Shetty’s _On Purpose_ podcast earlier this year that she once felt “shame” over the repeated heartbreak, she now credits Kylie’s love and support for helping her focus on family, healing, and the joy of watching their sons grow up side by side.
