Rapper Playboi Carti is facing serious legal trouble after being charged with assault in Utah following an alleged altercation with a rideshare driver and his girlfriend. The incident reportedly took place this month when the rapper, whose real name is Jordan Terrell Carter, was being driven to a private residence in Salt Lake City.
According to court records, tensions escalated after a disagreement over the destination. The Uber driver claims Carti became verbally aggressive before physically striking him.
