Cardi B is not giving up on love despite the end of her high-profile marriage to Offset. The Grammy-winning rapper recently shared candid reflections on her romantic life during a Sept. 16 appearance on Today with Jenna Bush Hager.
"Yeah, I would get married again," she said. "I believe in love. I'm like a hopeless romantic."
The 32-year-old filed for divorce from Offset, real name Kiari Cephus, in July 2024 after nearly seven years of marriage. The pair share three children — daughter Kulture, 7, son Wave, 4, and daughter Blossom, who turned one this month. "Everybody knows how devoted I am as a mother, so they just know that it's like, this is what I come with," she explained. "I come with a luggage, a baggage, a bookbag, a purse. I come with everything."
Since the split, Cardi has moved on with NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs, calling their relationship "sparkling" and even comparing it to the "Fourth of July." The couple, first linked in October 2024, confirmed their romance in May with a courtside appearance at a New York Knicks game. Reflecting on their first meeting, Cardi recalled, "I thought he was cute. I was like, 'Oh, he gotta be mine.'"
Diggs has also inspired her offstage. In an earlier interview with Billboard, Cardi said, "The one thing I've been learning [from Diggs] is to be more organized and not complain. He has to do two different things: learn his playbook and get physical. He has to be in bed at a certain time and wake up at a certain time. I'm like, 'Oh, my gosh. You're literally in the military. You really work hard.'"
Though she has yet to attend one of his games in person due to preparing for her new album, Am I the Drama?, Cardi joked, "I be on the screen on Sunday every day cursing people out. 'Pass the ball!' But after this whole album thing, I'm going to every single game. Every single one of them."
Meanwhile, Offset has publicly addressed their split in his own way. On his August album Kiari, he closed with the track "Move On," explaining to the Associated Press, "It's about moving on peacefully. It's all love and peace. I just ended the album with that, just to end that chapter because it's time to move on, it's over and done with."
