Lil Nas X experienced a health scare. The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to E! News that they responded to a report of a nude man walking in the street on Ventura Boulevard at approximately 5:50 a.m. on August 21.
According to a police statement, The suspect charged at officers upon arrival and was taken into custody. He was transported to a local hospital for a possible overdose and placed under arrest for battery on a police officer. The man was identified as the Old Town Road rapper in pictures that TMZ was able to obtain, but authorities did not provide his name.
The 26-year-old was recently admitted to the hospital four months after he disclosed that he had partial facial paralysis and that he was managing to stay positive despite the hospitalization.
In an Instagram video posted on April 14, Lil Nas stated, When I smile, this is me doing a full smile, as the left half of his face lifted in a smile. With a laugh, he continued, It's like, what the f--k? I can't even laugh correctly, bro. Oh my god.
But soon after, the Grammy winner reassured fans that he would be fine soon.
He added, Guys, I'm fine! in a later Instagram Story post. Avoid feeling sorry for me! Instead, shake your ass for me!
Lil Nas X, born Montero Lamar Hill, has been focusing on his health journey, stating that his muscle strength has improved and he can now give a genuine smile. He recently took a step back from his music career and discussed his future work and what it means to him now. He believes that he is now physically, emotionally, and in every way trying to exist in the world, even in the smallest things. He wants to stay committed to his life, where he doesn't try to force every single thing to be the biggest thing in the world, as it can take the fun out of it. He has been making music and getting more out of his comfort zone.
