Sean “Diddy” Combs and his son, Justin Combs, are facing a brand-new and disturbing lawsuit alleging sexual assault. This time, for an alleged group rape that purportedly took place in 2017. The complaint, filed in California, claims that a Louisiana-based professional woman was lured to Los Angeles on the promise of a job, only to be drugged and held captive by the father-son duo and two masked men, who allegedly took turns raping her over a weekend in a Beverly Hills residence.
According to the lawsuit, the tragic setup began when Justin, now about 31 years old, connected with the woman via Snapchat, requesting explicit photos. He then invited her to California under the guise of using his father’s industry connections to help launch her career. Once there, the woman says she was offered alcohol, pills, or “poppers,” some of which she suspected were laced. After becoming incapacitated, three masked men entered the home, one of whom she identified as Diddy through his size, behavior, and being referred to as “Pops” by his son.
She alleges the assault began late Saturday and continued through Sunday afternoon, forced into sexual acts under threat and fear. The lawsuit also claims long-lasting physical and psychological trauma, seeking both compensatory and punitive damages for the emotional damages suffered.
Diddy’s legal team has responded swiftly, firmly denying the allegations and reaffirming his stance that he’s never committed sexual assault or trafficking. They argue that “no matter how many lawsuits are filed,” the truth will ultimately emerge through the legal process.
This lawsuit arrives at a sensitive moment, just as Diddy is concluding a high-stakes federal trial in New York related to sex trafficking, racketeering, and conspiracy. Jurors had been hearing evidence regarding his alleged leadership of a criminal enterprise involved in abuse, coercion, drug distribution and filming intimate acts. That trial wrapped with closing arguments on June 26, and jury deliberations are underway. With Diddy already dealing with many civil suits alleging sexual assault, including dozens under the Gender-Motivated Violence Act, the weight of this latest accusation may deepen scrutiny.
