American rapper Kanye West has changed his name again, this time adopting the moniker Ye Ye. Documents obtained by Page Six reveal that his chief financial officer, Hussain Lalani, filed the official paperwork. This follows an earlier legal name change to Ye West, which appeared on previous business documents.

West's various businesses, including his Yeezy Apparel, Yeezy Record Label, LLC, and Getting Out Our Dreams Inc., all now list  as the manager or member name on their official records. Despite this shift, Kanye, who has been publicly known as Ye for years, has not yet made a public announcement on social media regarding this new name change.

On June 1, the controversial rapper, who has 24 Grammy Awards to his name, took to X to announce that he would be stepping away from his original Twitter handle, which had used his birth name, @kanyewest. In the June 1 post, he wrote: Ima finally stop using the @kanyewest Twitter
cause my name is Ye. Gonna start a ye account, and it is what it is.

This move follows his long-standing preference for the name Ye, which he first announced in 2018. At that time, Kanye shared on X that he would be going by the name Ye, stating: The being formally known as Kanye West. I am YE. This change became official when he legally changed his name to Ye in 2021. In a recent interview, the rapper opened up about various subjects, including his past relationship with Kim Kardashian.

Kanye shared that he never initially wanted children with Kim, admitting that it was his fault. He revealed that after just two months of dating, he realised he couldn’t envision a future with kids. Despite this, the couple went on to have four children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, before their divorce in 2022. As expected, his fans have shared different opinions about this name change.
