In a twist of events at Sean “Diddy” Combs’s ongoing federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial, rapper Kid Cudi born Scott Mescudi, delivered an explosive testimony on May 22, 2025, detailing a series of alarming incidents he attributes to Combs.

Cudi recounted a 2011 incident where Combs allegedly broke into his Hollywood Hills home after discovering Cudi's brief relationship with R&B singer Cassie Ventura, Combs's former partner. According to Cudi, upon returning home, he found Christmas gifts unwrapped and his dog locked in a bathroom, displaying signs of distress. He testified that Combs's assistant, Capricorn Clark, informed him that she had been compelled to accompany Combs and an associate during the unauthorized entry into his residence .

“Motherfucker, you in my house?" Mescudi recalled telling Combs over the phone as he rushed to the home in the Hollywood Hills. "He said he wants to talk to me," Mescudi said of Combs' response during the phone call. "I said, 'I'm on my way over right now.'" "And he said, 'I'm over here waiting for you,'" Mescudi told the jury, adding that Combs sounded "calm." Mescudi added, "I wanted to confront him, I wanted to fight him," but he said he feared Combs might not be alone for any actual confrontation.

Weeks later, Cudi's Porsche was destroyed in a firebombing incident. He described discovering the vehicle's convertible top slashed and evidence of a Molotov cocktail attack. Cudi confronted Combs at a meeting in Hollywood, where Combs denied involvement. However, Cudi testified that Combs's demeanor during the encounter was unsettling, likening him to a "Marvel supervillain"

These events align with prior allegations made by Cassie Ventura, who testified that Combs had threatened both her and Cudi upon learning of their relationship. Ventura claimed that Combs expressed a desire for Cudi's friends to witness his car being blown up. Ventura claims she had to end her relationship with Cudi, fearing for their lives.

Combs faces multiple charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering, and has pleaded not guilty. If convicted, he could face life imprisonment. The trial continues, with further testimonies expected in the coming days.
