Blue Ivy Carter, the 13-year-old daughter of global superstars Beyoncé and Jay-Z, is making headlines again—this time not just for her performances, but for embracing a fan-given title that reflects her growing influence behind the scenes.

During a recent stop on Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter tour, Blue Ivy was captured on video reacting to a sign in the crowd that read, "We Love U Manager Blue." As she danced alongside her mother to "Texas Hold 'Em," Blue spotted the sign, pointed at the fan, nodded in agreement, and gave a confident thumbs-up before continuing down the catwalk. The moment was shared by Eden, who runs the @cozycarters fan account, and later liked by Beyoncé's mother, Tina Knowles.

This wasn't the first time Blue Ivy has been affectionately called the "manager" of her famous family. Tina Knowles herself has playfully confirmed the label. In an Instagram video posted in April, she said, "My beauty guru and my manager, Miss Blue Ivy Carter has instructed me that I need to dye my eyebrows because they have little gray streaks in them."

Blue's knack for taking charge was also evident at the 2025 Grammy Awards. When Beyoncé appeared stunned after winning Best Country Album, a fan video showed Blue nudging her mother to stand up and accept the award. The footage quickly went viral, with fans praising her professionalism. "You know who wasn't shocked? Her manager, Blue Ivy Carter," one fan wrote on X.

Speaking to GQ in 2024, Beyoncé clarified that Blue's presence on stage was by her own choice. "She's an artist," Beyoncé said. "She has great taste in music and fashion... but I did not want Blue onstage. Blue wanted it for herself. She took it seriously, and she earned it."

Blue has continued to shine as one of Beyoncé's principal dancers on tour, having made her debut during the Renaissance World Tour in 2023. Her younger siblings, 7-year-old twins Rumi and Sir, also accompany their mother, with Rumi joining Beyoncé on stage for a performance of "Protector." After each performance, Blue sweetly escorts her little sister off the stage.

According to Tina Knowles, "She's always creating something and working with her hands and her mind... she's pretty amazing." With that creative spirit and growing leadership role, Blue Ivy Carter continues to live up to her "manager" nickname.
