Lizzo’s big grrrl and big boiii dancers express their support and praise her despite her being accused of misconduct by former dancers. The lawsuit was initiated by Asha Daniels, a former employee on Lizzo’s European tour in 2023. U.S. In her 50-page complaint, Daniels stated she first worked with Lizzo’s team in September 2022, designing costumes for dancers. By February 2024, she was hired to manage and maintain dancers’ outfits during the tour.

Daniels claimed to have witnessed repeated mistreatment of background dancers and alleged that tour manager Gugliotta was aware of these issues but failed to address them. Daniels argued the hostile work environment persisted unchecked.

She alleging a toxic work environment rife with racism, fatphobia, sexual harassment, and disability discrimination. Among her claims, she accused a wardrobe manager of injuring her by rolling a clothing rack over her foot and pushing her. Lizzo’s legal team dismissed the allegations, describing Daniels as a disgruntled employee seeking retribution for perceived grievances spanning 2021 to 2023.

The post shared to social media by Lizzo’s big grrrl and big boiii dancers has left fans torn apart. “We have had the time of our lives on the special tour. We have been so honored to share the stage with such an amazing talent. This tour experience to us has been beyond just special!”

The dancers went ahead to express their gratitude and appreciate Lizzo for “shattering limitations and kicking in the doorway” for them. “We’ve been traveling and exploring new horizons of the world. So many advantages to prevailing over hardships that society and the entertainment and beauty industry can bring. So grateful that the standards and existence of this team goes beyond surface.” The dancers went ahead to refer to themselves as “unicorns, undeniably resilient and special.” They claim their collective gifts have authentically powered the type of energy, love and support that can psychologically help health the world.
